Are you cool enough to scale one of these incredible ice walls? Kept at a constant -12, they have been purpose built by hand to create several ice faces, complete with bumps, crevices (and icicles!) to suit a range of abilities - from beginners slopes to steep overhangs, vertical courses and confined canyons. Over one hundred tonnes of snow has been used to create approximately 300m of solid ice. Itinerary: On arrival at the venue you will be met with your instructor, who will conduct a full safety briefing and show you different climbing techniques. Then it s time to get kitted up with all the safety gear before you head to the ice wall. Your climb will be under strict supervision of an instructor at all times and tuition is on a one to one basis. This experience will last for approximately one and a half hours, including briefing time and the issuing of safety equipment. You will spend a minimum of 40 minutes in the ice tower. Location: London (South East) or Manchester (North). Key information: On purchasing this experience you will be issued with a voucher valid for 10 months. Participants must be a minimum 13 years old. Under 16s must be accompanied with an adult. All participants must be in reasonable health and able bodied. All tuition is on a one to one basis and there will be a maximum of 5 climbers per session. Participants are advised to wear loose fitting clothing and all specialist clothing and equipment will be supplied on the day.

First, you`ll meet your pilot and get a flight safety briefing, before helping to prepare and inflate the balloon then climb into the basket, ready for launching. Flying at heights of up to 5,000 feet, you`ll gaze down at the beautiful views and enjoy the peace and quiet! Because the balloon moves with the wind, you`ll feel no wind at all, just sheer enjoyment. After landing you can help the crew pack the balloon away, before enjoying a celebratory glass of champagne and being driven back to the launch site. You`ll receive a commemorative flight certificate. Location: There are launch sites across the UK. The exact launch site will depend on wind direction on the day. Availability: Weekdays (excluding bank holidays) from March/April to October/November (depending on location). Flights take place at dawn, when the air is at its most stable. Participant Guidelines: Maximum weight is 18 stone. Minimum height is 4`6``. Minimum age is 8. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. Not suitable for pregnant women. Medical conditions must be declared in advance. Duration: The experience normally lasts for three to four hours, including one hour to inflate the balloon, around an hour in the air and one hour for packing the balloon away and returning to the launch site. Numbers on Day: As a guide there will be between 8 and 16 people and the pilot in the balloon with you. Dress Code: Wear trousers, long sleeves and flat shoes. Please don`t wear loose scarves or jewellery. Bring a hat - the heat from the burner overhead can be intense.
