A USB 3.0 "Super Speed" interface provides rapid data transfer speeds, up to ten times faster than USB 2.0. Requiring no external power for operation, the drive can simply be plugged in to be ready for action! It is also backwards compatible to USB 2.0 ports on your PC or Mac computer. Security programmes and software such as Nero Back It Up and Burn Essentials are included with your hard drive. These create back up files and schedule auto back ups in case of potential data loss whilst giving you the option to burn content onto CDs and DVDs. Nero Rescue Agent provides the option to recover files in case of data damage or corruption. Energy saving software includes Green Button which suspends the spinning motion of the hard drive when idle, conserving power.
