Graphite, blackberry, cassis and marischino cherries on the deep, potent nose. Black fruits, plum preserves, sweet oak and licorice permeate the palate. Succulent and juicy with abundant glycerin, round tannin, sufficient supporting acidity and a lengthy finish. In Parker's words, 'The Sammarco on steroids.'
