This book contains a collection of speeches which Mahatma Gandhi gave to his prayer audiences in Delhi between the 10th of September 1947 and the 30th of January the following year. This First Edition published in March, 1948 by the Navajivan Publishing House (Ahmedabad), as part of a run of 10000 copies. Jacket is torn in places, with considerable wear to the edges and spine. Text on the spine is faded and in places unreadable. Both front and back are marked and stained in places. Boards are marked and discoloured in places and the cloth spine is worn. There is little wear to the edges of boards and the spine is sturdy for age. Inside, pages are intact and generally clean, although there is some minor discolouration in places. Binding is generally tight, particularly for age, although some pages are a little loose.
