Pete provides numerous scales and exercises to help you gain fingerboard knowledge, limber your fingers and develop right-and left-hand coordination. Finally, you'll put it all to practical use by learning to conquer a dazzling instrumental, The Monaghan Jig. Pete takes the piece apart phrase, showing you how to get spectacular results using his practice methods. Over the years, Peter Huttlinger has established himself as a topnotch session player, composer, arranger, songwriter and sideman. The Berklee graduate has been a featured artist with the San Diego and Houston symphonies and the Nashville Chamber Orchestra, and has performed on numerous Grammy winning and nominated projects. In 2000 he won first place in the prestigious National Fingerstyle Championship in Winkfield, Kansas. Pete toured, recorded and performed with John Denver from 1984 until the singer's death in 1997. He has also written music for HBO, PBs, ESPN, and many other networks. His 2003 release, Naked Pop is on Steve Vai's Favored Nations label.

Over the course of his long and illustrious career Louis Armstrong visited Scandinavia on no less than nine occasions to both tour and record. Amongst the wealth of fabulous recordings he produced on these visits are six tracks that are said to be the world's first live jazz recordings, recorded in Denmark and Sweden during the 1930s.
