Sureflap is a purely battery powered cat flap that uses the ID chip implanted in a cat as an electronic door key. Our price is £67.95 with FREE DELIVERY.Microchipping is the most common form of identification used for cats and dogs, as each microchip has a unique number there is no mistaking one animal for another. Sureflap learns the unique number for each or your cats and only unlocks for them. Programming takes a few seconds for each cat and up to 32 cats identities can be stored on each flap.Sureflap operates with all commonly used microchips worldwide, 9, 10 and 15 digit. There is no need for the cat to wear a collar or tag. The microchip reader is built into the tunnel for exceptional read range, ease of installation and overall robustness. The centrally mounted lock is in the middle of the door providing maximum protection against forced entry.Sureflap uses new technology which allows it to run for up to a year on 4 AA batteries. A low battery light flashes to tell you when to change them. There are two locks, the manual lock allows you to override the motorised lock which is ideal if you want to keep your cat in at night. The motorised lock opens as soon as your cat puts its head in the tunnel and stays open until it comes into the house. There are two closing speeds available to ensure no tailgating occurs.Sureflap's two part construction makes installation into doors, windows and walls a quick easy job. Sureflap is a drop in replacement for many existing cat flaps and requires a hole 166mm x 172mm (h). The mounting adaptor can be purchased seperately and is for use in windows or doors where a large hole needs to be covered. It is suitable for holes 212mm to 260mm in diameter. The Tunnel Extender, also purchased seperately is designed for wall mounting applications, each tunnel extender is 50mm long, they can be added together to make any length needed.
