Furniture Village Product Information
Your 3000 pocket sprung bed with feet will be supplied in a chrome finish as standard. Natural and mahogany options are also available. Should either of these be preferred, please indicate this requirement in the ‘Delivery or special instructions’ box when placing your order online. If you are selecting a deep divan with a decorative valance, this model is only supplied on castors. Divan Base Options Besides the deep (higher) divan sets, the 3000 range also offers shallow (lower) divan beds. Again the above foot options are applicable to these models. Valances, however, are not available on shallow divan bases. Under Bed Storage Only available on deep divan models, this can be a great hidden asset! Drawers provide great space for your spare linen and other lightweight items. (We do not recommend you use them for heavy items such as books etc.) Mattress Support When choosing the comfort level of your mattress, make sure you select the one that best suits your body weight and makes you the most comfortable. We do recommend you take your time to visit a showroom and try before you buy. Like many of our bespoke manufacturers, The Handmade Bed Company offers a choice: soft and medium. But if you are sharing a super king size divan, and you or your partner prefer different levels of comfort, you can chose a combination mattress. These options result in different support levels on either side of the bed. Select soft/medium support to ensure you both are comfortable. The Handmade Bed Company also makes general recommendations of their suitability based on body weight. Combined with various fillings, again it is a matter of personal preference which you choose. Our Online Bed Buying and Care Guides are also designed to help you make the right choice. To maintain the performance of your 3000 mattress regular turning is essential. It is also recommended that you rotate the head and foot ends to prolong the life of this product. Delivery For access purposes the base of a super king size (180cm) divan is delivered in 2 sections, split horizontally from top to bottom (north to south). Please ensure you have sufficient access to your chosen room. As part of our Premier Delivery Service your furniture will be unwrapped and placed in position by our professionally trained delivery team. Accessories The 3000 divan set is shown here with the Continental headboard. Such finishing touches are optional extras and are not included in the price.
