On top of these are a range of fillings, all of which are chosen for their own special qualities: Hypo-allergenic Reflex foam provides a soft yet supportive feel; Cotton felt creates a soft surface; White fibre is a dust-free filling, which provides softness and resilience.The whole mattress is finished with felt tufts, which hold the mattress fillings securely in place. It also has double flag-stitched handles and ventilation holes that aid air circulation. Finally the sides of the mattress are hand-stitched. This extends the sleeping area to the mattress edge by supporting the mattress walls.The divan base is of sturdy construction and is sprung for support across the whole mattress. The strong timber frame is glued and screwed together for extra strength and sits on the highest quality castors. The drawers, if you choose them, are made of fine timber with dovetail joints for added strength. On the two drawer beds, small single and single beds have two large drawers on one side and all other sizes have one large drawer at either side of the footend.
