The wheel take the reliability and lightweight of the standard Pro3 Mono and add a stunning design and high level component specification, making them a perfect choice for performance orientated events and training. Hope have used a 30mm alloy aero section rim, with a reliable 24 hole rear drilling. The aero section is super stiff and more aerodynamic than a conventional square section rim. The wheel is hand laced, built and hand finished in house at Hope's Barnoldswick factory using Sapim CX Ray SP spokes and Polyax alloy nipples. The new Pro3 SP hub used is the same as found in the high end carbon wheelsets and is a stunning example of our CNC machining capabilities. The efficient straight pull flange further adds to the stiff construction, whilst the low profile design means a clean look is still achieved. The proven 4 pawl drive mechanism is used as in all their other hubs, whilst the super smooth running and long lasting stainless steel bearings keep these wheels on the road for longer.
