Velleron is a charming old village with good basic facilities and is well known for its wonderful evening fruit and vegetable market (April to October) which is easily walkable from here. Restaurant 500 meters. Sunday antiques market at Isle sur la Sorgue 5km. Superb Papal palace at Avignon 25km, Roman amphitheatre at Orange and Provencal market at nearby Carpentras on Friday mornings. Situated in a quiet area just outside the village, this studio is an independent wing of a large old stone ‘mas’ occupied by the owners. The good sized shared pool, 12 x 7.5 x 1.1-1.7m depth and spacious grounds are shared with the owner’s family and another letting property. The pool is well fenced and has a security alarm, and is set about 75 meters from the property at the end of a grassy path. This is a relaxed and friendly environment. The owners have dogs, horses and even a pet goat! The studio has a very pleasant enclosed courtyard with plants and bushes, giving shade when required, a covered eating area with table and chairs, and built in BBQ. All on the ground floor, open plan, furnished traditionally and comfortably, with wooden ceiling beams and cool tiled floors. Perfect for couples.
