It allows the user to test the safe installation of their work. It will test the resistance and insulation of installed cables. The safe levels of resistance while the circuit is live and the maximum potential or fault current of the installed circuit and that the circuit is adequately protect by carrying out a function test on the protective RCD installed at the fuse board.The KT61 is used by Electricians Electrical Contractors and Engineers.
