At this level they need to perform like a reference monitor and they do. My personal pick of the ACS range from a price vs performance perspective. T2 In-Ear Monitors provide unbeatable clarity comfort and isolation for those that demand the best audio reproduction. T2 in-ear monitors are individually crafted from soft silicon which makes wearing and removing them a snap and allows a greater degree of movement for the wearer. Because silicon flexes with the movements of the jaw it maintains more consistent noise isolation of around 26db during vocal performances and as it reaches body temperature quickly youll soon forget that youre wearing them. The T2 utilises twin balanced armature transducer technology and an integrated crossover to deliver an incredibly detailed response that extends from below 20hz to 16Khz. Each of the transducers used in the T2 has been carefully selected to deliver unrivalled range clarity and depth. Because balanced armature transducers have a high resistance to mechanical shock coupled with the impact protection of the silicon shield the T2 offers consistent performance time after time. The T2 is wired with teflon shielded cabling and comes with either a top or bottom cable exit. Cable length is standard at 1.4m however extensions are available upon request. An optional Inductor board may be specified for the top eight frequencies (4k Hz-20k Hz) to further improve noise and phase linearity. Long throw faders provide maximum sensitivity and control of 12d B cut and boost at 31 ISO centre frequencies covering the entire audio spectrum (20Hz to 20k Hz).The Shelving Equaliser section offers continuous adjustment of boost/cut and corner frequency. This allows an engineer to tailor the sound without altering the graphics settings. The High and Low Pass filters use 4th order bi- quadratic topology to offer 24d B/octave slope and superior stability.The Dynamics section uses a fast RMS detector with soft-knee characteristics.
