Each R/S flex Smooth Steel Shaft is hand weighed and sorted here at SMT Golf to three distinct weight and playability categories. Higher Trajectory 122 gram – 125 gram Medium Trajectory 126 gram – 129 gram Lower Trajectory 130 gram – 133 gram Imagine the fitting variables that you now can cater to within each set. {Summary}The Tour AD YSQ was introduced in 2008. The YSQ family of shafts is the new modernized YS+. New design and technology will add 3 to 5% in ball speed thus adding 6 to 10 yards of distance to each shot. The YSQ shafts incorporates an exclusive technology called AXIAL COMPOSITE INTERLACE (ACI) technology. Graphite Design engineers have discovered that strategic orientation of fibers in multiple angles gives the golfer ultimate performance. The ACI technology stabilizes the club eliminating shaft deformation to enhance the playability of today's larger club heads. The enhancement leads to superior distance and unmatched accuracy in every shot. The 2008 model YSQ 65 is slightly stiffer in the tip and butt sections but has an additional 5% in torque compared to the YS+ shaft. This offers additional benefits in distance and feel every golfer needs and wants. The YSQ is available in 2009 in a 75 gram part. This 10 gram heavier version is designed for the stronger player. The YSQ 75 is 10% lower in torque and has a higher bend point for lower launch angles than the YSQ 65 these are preferred for higher swing speeds. The YSQ 75 is also ideal for fairway woods.
