If placed correctly in the stand, the reader beeps and automatically switches to hands-free mode. The green spot remains on to show the operator where to position the code under the Heron for quick and intuitive reading. As a result, Heron is effective as a hand-held reader and presentation scanner.The Heron also provides full connectivity. Three models are available with different interface sets.
