Stand out tracks on this disc, that we’re not allowed to tell you about, come from the up-tempo Likelike mix of The Private’s ‘Secret Lover’, and Felix Da Housecat’s version of Passion Pit’s ‘Secrets’.CD2 brings together two 21st century disco pioneers as Aeroplane remix Lindstrom and Christabelle’s ‘Baby Can’t Stop’. Crazy P, quite rightly so, make an appearance with a mix of ‘Stop Space Return’ from Ron Basejam. Phonat’s ‘Love Hits The Fan’ is an example of the power of the sound with its vocally distorted and synth-heavy sci-fi style production. Fred Falke takes on two tracks from this disc with remixes of Grizzly Bear’s ‘Two Weeks’ and Shena’s ‘Nasty Little Rumour’, and Hed Kandi’s finest John Jones’ awesome ‘Be Together’ is remixed by Christian Hoff making this track perfect nu disco fodder, whilst Vitalic rocks the end of this disc with his killer ‘Poison Lips’.Nu Disco is Hed Kandi’s perspective on the natural evolution of our beloved disco as it is transformed into the pioneering distant futuristic sound of the 21st century. Their names, as is tradition with uslu airlines, were inspired by airport destination codes, and as is traditional with MYKITA – are also first names: ‘BOB – bora bora motu mute’ located in French Polynesia and ‘EVE – evenes’ a destination in Norway. Three exclusive colours were developed for this collaboration: The MYK grey and lilac ITA are new developments of uslu airlines nail polish best sellers. SXF however signals a new twist on neon yellow. The colours are also repeated in the gradient lenses, which fade from black down to the respective frame colour.
