Just 150 metres from the city's world-famous Duomo and 400 metres from the superb Uffizi gallery, the hotel has a great location for exploring all that Florence has to offer. Shopping venues, restaurant, bars and the Duomo Square bus station can be found right on the hotel's doorstep, while Santa Maria train station is just a 7-minute walk away. Other places of interest, such as the Piazza della Repubblica, Ponte Vecchio and the Accademia Museum, are all in the immediate vicitinity, as is the Arno River. Peretola Airport, Florence is 6 km from the hotel and Galileo Galilei Airport, Pisa is 82 km away. Fully renovated in 2006, the hotel offers 14 guestrooms and many modern comforts and facilities with an intimate ambience and relaxing atmosphere. The air-conditioned establishment has a lobby area with lift access, a TV lounge, breakfast room and Wi-Fi wireless internet access. There is also an undercover parking garage for guests arriving by car. All of the hotel's spacious, recently renovated rooms, are furnished in a warm, elegant manner and decorated in a classical style. Each room features satellite TV, a private bathroom with shower and hairdryer, a mini fridge, direct dial telephone, safe, Wi-fi Internet access and individually controlled air conditioning and heating. All rooms are non-smoking and some have a view of the Duomo. There is a golf course 20 km from the hotel. The hotel's bar offers a selection of cold drinks, coffee, tea, espresso, cappuccino, and traditional Italian wines and liquors. In the summer, the tranquil terrace in front of the bar is an ideal spot to enjoy a drink after a long day exploring the city. The hotel serves a continental breakfast and a breakfast buffet. The reception is closed from 1 am at night to 6:30 am (but guests can go in and out if they like). Check-in is available from 6:30 am to 1:00 in the morning. Parking is available in the nearby garage but for an extra cost which varies depending on the size of the car.
