Availability: Selected weekend dates. This is a very popular experience and gets very busy in the summer - book at least three months in advance for peak summer dates.Weather: If the weather is deemed unsafe (e.g. wind too strong) by TYF Adventure, the experience might be cancelled. Please call the venue before setting out.Duration: Two three and a half day sessions which equate to around five hours of activity time, with an hour break for lunch between activities. Please arrive a few minutes in advance of your booked time. Numbers On Day: There will be up to 10 people taking part. If there are more than eight of you, there will be two instructors on hand.Spectators: Spectators are welcome, although a lot of the action takes place on the cliff face. Viewing is possible from the Pembrokeshire coast path which lines the cliff tops (but safety comes first so do not get close to the edge and steep drop beyond it!)Dress Code: Bring old tracksuit bottoms/leggings, trainers, swimwear, shorts, towel and a change of clothes. Your clothes and shoes will get wet. You'll dry off outside before returning to the centre, where hot showers await. MONDAY - Arrive in time for a home cooked lunch, followed by a half day COASTEERING The ultimate coastal adventure - climb, swim and jump into a whole new world. Sea caves and swirling ocean swells combine to produce a truly wild environment. Watch out, it's addictive! TUESDAY - We recommend getting stuck in and taking two half day adventures today. You'll try SEA KAYAKING where rocks, caves, seals, birds, waves, surf, beaches, harbours and much more make Pembrokeshire a real sea kayaker's paradise, and SURFING Pembrokeshire beach breaks, basing yourself at a beautiful sandy beach. WEDNESDAY - We'll leave this day free for you to take some time to explore at your own pace. Our local sandy beach, Abermawr, is just a short walk through the bluebell woods and can offer you rock pools, idyllic views, safe swimming and unspoilt tranquility; it's the perfect spot for a family day out. Pembrokeshire also offers a plethora of activities to suit the needs and interests of all the family; whether it's a boat trip around an off shore Island, a horse ride on a beach, a fishing trip, or even some badger or bat watching, we can point you in the right direction. THURSDAY - Today you'll choose your favourite activity from the adventures above and get the chance to hone your skills! Then you'll round your adventures off with a COASTAL HIKE, we have the world renowned Pembrokeshire National Park Coastal Path on the very western tip of Europe right on our doorstep. Unwind amidst the spectacular cliff top scenery and chill out amongst the wild flowers - it's the perfect accompaniment to the adrenaline charged adventure activities. Please contact us if you have any questions or requests. WHAT CAN WE DO IN THE EVENINGS? After supper in the evenings you'll be free to make the most of our awesome location, a walk through the bluebell woods to the beach comes highly recommended, and we'll have a bonfire under the stars for you on one of the evenings. The eco lodge is a great place to hang out in the evenings, we have a big pile of games and books, plenty of safe outdoor play areas for kicking a ball around, we have a fully licensed bar so if the adults fancy a bevvie they're most welcome, and if the kids really can't live without internet access we have wireless broadband! ACCOMMODATION All adventure guests stay at an Eco Lodge located in five star adventure centre set in an acre of land; a beautiful location with just a one mile walk through National Trust woodland to a local beach which is stunning, unspoilt, and a place where seals sometimes sleep. The lodge has a range of cosy bedrooms, from doubles through to group rooms sleeping eight. The lodge is kept warm and cosy all year round, with a comfy lounge that has a picture window with an inspirational view, under-floor heating courtesy of the ground source heat pump, and is equipped with a delightful wood burning stove - ideal for experiencing that 'post adventure' glow! The bar and dining area has a pool table and an incredible music system which you can plug your ipod straight into. The bar is well stocked with a wide range of tipples to suit everyone, including local and organic brews. Tasty meals are served, and tea, coffee and cold drinks are available to help yourself to at all times. Food is home cooked, wholesome and delicious, and special diets are happily catered for. The traditional Pembrokeshire courtyard is perfect for warm summer evenings or for watching the beautiful sunsets, or you can enjoy beers around a blazing bonfire in our sheltered garden for awe inspiring nights out under the stars. The lodge accommodates up to 38 people and has an atmosphere of homeliness and comfort. If you want to sample the local village pub, in the small and friendly hill top village of Mathry, it's just a short walk from the lodge and will give you a real taste of rural Welsh life. From here you can look out over the Preseli Hills; the source of the 'bluestone' of Stonehenge. THE INSTRUCTORS All of our professional and friendly guides and instructors are experienced and fully qualified with National Governing Body Awards and they regularly take part in comprehensive in house training.
