Stunningly clear and transparent resposnse from twin balanced armatures - not as bass-happy as something like a triple driver SE535 but youd not buy these for overpowering bass. At this level they need to perform like a reference monitor and they do. My personal pick of the ACS range from a price vs performance perspective. T2 In-Ear Monitors provide unbeatable clarity comfort and isolation for those that demand the best audio reproduction. T2 in-ear monitors are individually crafted from soft silicon which makes wearing and removing them a snap and allows a greater degree of movement for the wearer. Because silicon flexes with the movements of the jaw it maintains more consistent noise isolation of around 26db during vocal performances and as it reaches body temperature quickly youll soon forget that youre wearing them. The T2 utilises twin balanced armature transducer technology and an integrated crossover to deliver an incredibly detailed response that extends from below 20hz to 16Khz. Each of the transducers used in the T2 has been carefully selected to deliver unrivalled range clarity and depth. Because balanced armature transducers have a high resistance to mechanical shock coupled with the impact protection of the silicon shield the T2 offers consistent performance time after time. The T2 is wired with teflon shielded cabling and comes with either a top or bottom cable exit. Cable length is standard at 1.4m however extensions are available upon request. The cable is terminated with a gold-plated 3.5mm jack suitable for connection to almost all audio sources. Although it is the smallest clubhead in the SMT line, the technology in this little power plant is remarkable. Thirteen months on the drawing board, we came out with the first ever three sided wrap around soleplate which actually gives the Spectrum the most efficient energy transfer of all SMT clubheads, while both raising and deepening the center of gravity of the head giving the player a remarkable combination of feel and distance. Certainly you don't have to take our word for it, glance back at the picture to see just a few of the accolades this clubhead has brought to the history of the golf, starting with the longest driver on any PGA Tour since 2003 with a season ending driving distance average of well over 339 yards! Also, the PGA Tour Driving Distance Leader position was secured at the 2004 Shell Houston Open with a blast of over 429 yards which beat John Daly's old record by over 40 yards.
