This is one of his books based on his many years spent living in, and travelling around, Southern Spain.This centres around travels into less accessible areas on horseback. So this enabled the author to portray out of the way places. But he is also particularly good at depicting personalities and ways of life in these remoter regions. First edition, with jacket. Three maps. 23 b/w photos, taken by the author, of a high quality in terms of choice of subject, landscapes, buildings, people.
