Liverpool V Sunderland 1992 Fa Cup Final Dvd
Toffs Ltd Product Information
Reaching their fourth final in seven years, the Reds headed for Wembley eager for Cup success. Finishing the season in sixth, it was remarkably the Club’s lowest position for 27 years, but in Graeme Souness’ first full season in charge, the faithful Kop were not too despondent at the prospect of the FA Cup heading back to Anfield. Facing second division Sunderland, who had upset the form books in 1973 when they toppled Don Revie’s Leeds United, Liverpool were odds on favourites to clinch the cup for a fantastic fifth time. But a testing first half lay ahead and the scoreline remained deadlocked as the half-time whistle sounded. However, the second half proved to be a completely different story, and with only two minutes played the break-through came, as Steve Mc Manaman’s cross fell to Michael Thomas who smashed the ball home with clinical aplomb, and maybe just maybe he was forgiven for that injury time goal for Arsenal in 1989 that denied the Reds of yet another league title and domestic double. One soon became two, and it was the goalscorer who turned provider. Thomas latched onto Saunders’ through ball, rounded the keeper and rolled it into the path of Ian Rush who tucked it past Norman in the Sunderland goal, for his fifth and record breaking FA Cup Final goal. It was the season that marked the Club’s return to European football for the first time since 1985, and it was business as usual as another piece of silverware headed for the Anfield trophy cabinet. Now relive the full uninterrupted ninety minutes all over again on this specially produced DVD.

Liverpool V Everton 1989 Fa Cup Final Dvd
Toffs Ltd Product Information
Whilst the 1988-89 FA Cup will always be remembered for the tragic events that unfolded at Hillsborough, for the Final itself the script couldn’t have been written any better, as Liverpool faced their arch rivals Everton in an emotionally charged and highly evocative Wembley final, in which Liverpool would eventually win but Merseyside would be united. Liverpool started brightly, and were ahead after only four minutes, when John Aldridge hit the back from within inches to the penalty spot where he had missed in the previous year’s Final, but this time there was no denying him a Cup Final goal, and it was a goal that appeared to clinch victory after 85 more minutes of enduring football in the sweltering May sunshine failed to produce another goal. But just as the ribbons were being fastened, Everton’s substitute Stuart Mc Call popped up at the back post to force extra time. The Blue’s resurgent with their late goal started brightly, but it was Liverpool’s own substitute Ian Rush who proved to the hero of the hour, as he first swivelled and fired an unstoppable shot into the roof of the net, and then after Mc Call had once again equalised he steered an unstoppable header that was as deft as decisive to make it 3-2 with the second half of extra time still remaining. But that’s how it remained, and the Reds had fittingly won the cup, providing the best possible tribute to the victims of Hillsborough, on a simply unforgettable afternoon in North London, when both sides of Merseyside played their part in an extraordinary occasion. Now relive this incredible match over again in this specially produced programme, featuring the full uninterrupted 90 minutes and post match reaction as it happened.

TheDrinkShop Product Information
Forward thinking has taken form in a second tier of reds, blended with Helderberg fruit and bottled under the label KC. 'This allows us to elevate the quality and status of our premium red wines, reserving the very best parcels of vineyard for the Marlbrook and Klein Constantia Cabernet Sauvignon ranges,' explains Adam (Klein Constantia's winemaker (since the 2004 vintage) is 29-year-old Adam Mason). Healthy, deep garnet colour. On the nose is initial spicy - wood scents give way to ripe plummy, Christmas pud' aromas, and hints of cool grown Cabernet. The palate is well structured, but medium bodied. Mouth watering flavours of ripe, juicy red currants and fleshy plums. Wonderful array of classic, cooler Cabernet attributes complimented by velvety Merlot flavours. Judicious oaking has lent an added dimension of savoury flavours to this balanced, moreish morsel. With the correct storage, this wine will continue to mature and evolve for a further 8-10 years.

1965 Fa Cup Final - Liverpool V Leeds United
Zavvi Product Information
Until 1965 The FA Cup remained a notable absentee in the Liverpool trophy room. Six league titles had been achieved but for 73 years success in the World's greatest knockout competition had eluded them until one fateful afternoon when it all changed.Forever regarded as a landmark day in the club's history it was a day that many supporters thought they would never see. But it would be third time lucky for the Reds facing a Leeds United side that had upset the form book by finishing second in the league after only one season back in the top-flight.A strong physical battle was expected and the match lived up to all the billing. With only 9 minutes on the clock Gerry Byrne sustained an injury that was to become part of Liverpool folklore. Breaking his collarbone in a challenge with Bobby Collins Byrne didn't realise the full extent of his injury and valiantly played on for the rest of the match. After a goalless 90 minutes extra time was needed but with only 3 minutes of the 1st half played the deadlock was broken. Gerry Byrne still suffering from the injury he sustained early in the match whipped in a cross that was met by the diving header of Roger Hunt and the red half of Wembley celebrated. Leeds looked beaten but 8 minutes later the scoreline was level once again as Billy Bremner volleyed the equaliser past Lawrence. But not to be denied back Liverpool came and with only 9 minutes remaining Ian St John dived to head the winner past Reaney on the line. The goal not only clinched the one honour they had longed for but signalled the start of a 20 year plus reign as the kings of English and for a time European football. So now relive once again one of the greatest day in the Club's proud history.

Julian Dicks - Hammer's House Of Heroes
The Hut Product Information
In December 1985 a young 17 year old Birmingham City full back made his first appearance at Upton Park in his side's 2-0 defeat. An unremarkable debut perhaps but West Ham manager John Lyall was impressed with what he saw that afternoon in the plucky youngster's gusty performance. So much so that in March 1988 he approached relegated Birmingham for his signature and on 2nd April 1988 Julian Dicks made his full debut for West ham in the first of 318 appearances for the club.Just over a year later after John Lyall had left the club West Ham's new manager Lou Macari recognising the talent and leadership qualities possessed by the young Dicks made him the captain of the side replacing England international Alvin Martin. Dicks hit the ground running in his new role scoring the only goal in his captain's debut against Watford on the 23rd September 1989.Macari did not survive but Julian Dicks continued to blossom in his role at the club under Billy Bonds despite a fractious and often heated relationship between the two men. Their clashes were no doubt caused by the definitive similarity between the two in style and determination and the way they saw their role in a West Ham United side increasingly eschewing its academy reputation in favour of a more physical core developed to meet the challenge of gaining promotion. After a horrific knee injury at Bristol City in his first game as captain under Billy Bonds in October 1990 Dicks came under the surgeon's knife for the first time and a lengthy lay-off ensued. Apart from discovering a talent for golf and the ability to play off scratch the absence was enormously frustrating for Dicks and his side who were bottom of the First Division when he finally returned fourteen months later at home to Sheffield United in December 1991. Typically Dicks immediately set about restoring the steel to the side scoring a late equaliser from the penalty spot.West Ham were still relegated and after another promotion season blighted by a pack of yellow cards and three reds Dicks left the side to Join Liverpool under Graham Souness in September 1993. Just thirteen months later however West Ham's new boss Harry Redknapp decided he wanted Dicks back and the new-look ambassador returned to take the captain's armband and embark upon his finest hours at the club as they began to climb up the new Premiership table.A second lay-off inevitable as the knee began to jar and Dicks returned to the golf course in April 1997 this time away until September 1998 nearly eighteen months out of the game. His return was short-lived and Dicks was forced to hang his boots at the relatively premature age of 30 in February 1999.In July 2006 Julian Dicks allowed us access to his home in Las Ramblas Murcia to witness his development as a pro on the gold circuit and to enjoy a reminiscence of his greatest and lowest moments in a memorable football career. With no stones left unturned this is a frank and at times shocking story of a game that has changed greatly since the dark days of the nineteen-eighties. If you love football this is a DVD you cannot afford to be without. Julian Dicks is a worthy candidate to be the first entry into West Ham United's new Hammers House of Heroes collection.
