When sugar cane is ground it produces a thick, creamy, almost liquid substance, very rich in sugar, and of a beautiful amber colour. This is the molasses, traditionally called 'honey'. This 'honey' is the main raw material, and its unique quality has given Cuban rum the prestige it has always enjoyed. A special yeast will be added to the purified, sterilised and diluted 'honey' to initiate the fermentation process. The fermented honey is now ready for the slow reflective process of evaporation and concentration which will take place in the distillation columns. The distillation process yields eau-de-vie and pure alcohol. The young eau-de-vie then begins its first maturing period in 180 litre barrels, where it remains for at least 18 months. The well-balanced blending of aged eau-de-vie, matured for at least 18 months, with sugar cane alcohol of the highest quality will produce the young rum, which will rest once more in white oak barrels, where it will remain for three years, hence its name: Anejo 3 years. Once the product has matured the expertise of the rum master will come into play in selecting and blending the barrels, and then the product will be rested and filtered to ensure uniform batches of 3 year old rum identical in aroma and taste. 3-year-old rum has a light straw colour. It has at once the luminous, light, syrupy look characteristic of aged rum This Cuban rum has a sweet, woody smell with aromas of caramel and vanilla. 3-year-old rum is pleasant-tasting with a fresh, discreet flavour. A taste of vanilla with chocolate accents. The three year old rum, excellent for cocktails, providing the cocktail with the distinctive characteristics of rum. It is also ideal for drinking on its own or with a few ice cubes. Havana Club 3 years was awarded the silver medal in London in 1996 at the 'The International Wine & Spirits Competition' when judged against the best rums in the world.

He managed to flee to Poland, carrying with him the only two assets he had left: his name and the formulae for vodka which had made his family name famous. With the dissolution of the Soviet Union, it at last became possible for the successors of Vladimir Smirnoff to return to Russia and explore the roots of their product. They studied the old methods of distillation, the small copper pot-stills which the Smirnoff familiy had originally used to produce small batches of fine vodka for the Imperial household. Then, using highest quality native Russian grain, and pure Russian silver birch charcoal as a filtering agent, they produced an extraordinary product, a style of vodka which has not been tasted since the days of the Czars.

Bounce Mat: All Big Air Trampoline jump mats are made in the USA and manufactured from Grade A Permatron. Permatron is a unique material that can be left outside in a garden all year round and gives an excellent cushioned bounce. We have experimented with more cheap Permatron mats manufactured from outside of the USA and found the quality to be considerably poorer. The V rings used to attach the jump mat to the frame are secured with an eight row stitch for extreme durability. Safety Padding: Big Air Extreme trampolines use high quality highly two tone flexy plastic covers to ensure the padding will remain intact after years of garden or outdoor use. All Big Air Trampoline safety padding uses a special shock absorbing closed cell polyethylene to provide protection from the trampoline frame and springs. There is an extra thick layer of padding around the edge to provide added protection from the hard steel frame of the trampoline. These deluxe trampoline pads are also UV treated to protect against harmful rays from the sun. Safety Enclosure: The Big Air Trampoline comes with a free standing safety net that secures to the leg of the trampoline with specially adapted galvanised steel clamps. The safety net is manufactured from 16 gauge HOT galvanised steel (better for garden and outdoor use). We have found that although more expensive to manufacture this design of safety net is far sturdier than other more cheap safety nets which attach to the top of the trampoline legs. This safety net frame is free standing and effectively doubles the number of legs that the trampoline has in contact with the ground, thus significantly increasing the structural integrity of both the trampoline and the safety enclosure. The mesh of the safety net is made from super strong and flexible Terylene thread and the intelligent design uses a free standing net to minimalise the risk of accidents involving the upright posts.
