Published by Cambridge University Press for the Hakluyt Society. Blue cloth binding with picture of Cook in gold on the front. The pages number consecutively through both parts. Part one has a label inside the front board "Cambridge University Press: Syndics Library SY. 2. 23.". This has been crossed through and "duplicate" is written above. On the spine has been written in white "SY" at the top, "2" in the middle and "52.23" at the bottom but this has largely faded. Part 2 has a label inside the front board reading "From the University Printer's Library 910.4"". A number has been written on the spine but has largely faded. Both parts are in very good condition with tight binding and no foxing. There is only slight discolouration to the page ends.
