This totally unique experience allows to you experience the sheer exhilaration of skydiving, in a specially constructed wind tunnel, the likes of which are usually used to test the aerodynamics of F1 racing cars! After all the necessary training you will step into the airflow and taste the thrill of freefall in a totally safe and controlled environment, and what 's more, its suitable for almost anyone from age 5 so even the kids can have a go. Itinerary: Upon contact with the supplier you will be issued with a report time; it is important that you arrive no later than the report time given. You will have a briefing and receive all necessary instruction. You will learn and practice freefall and body flying techniques. You will get kitted up in flight suit, specialist headgear, goggles, earplugs, knee and elbow pads, before entering the tunnel with your instructor for the first of two one minute 'skydives '. You will receive a souvenir DVD recording of your experience. Location: Buckinghamshire (South East). Key information: On purchasing this experience you will be issued with a voucher valid for ten months. This voucher entitles two people to two flights each of one minute Please note that you will not be able to fly at the same time. Once purchased, you are free to contact the venue to book a time for your 'skydive '. Maximum weight 18 stone. Minimum age 5 years. For under 18 's a parent or guardian must sign a waiver. This experience is not suitable for anyone who is pregnant or has ever had a dislocated shoulder. Check with your doctor first if you have a history of neck/back/heart problems. You must not be under the influence of alcohol or non-prescription drugs. All necessary equipment is provided. You should wear casual clothes, ideally a t-shirt without a collar, and trainers. Riders will enter an 8ft inflatable sphere and let the mighty power of the 150mph Airkix wind tunnel do the rest, as they enjoy the ride if their lives. Air Sphereing for Two and Three Short briefing where you will receive all necessary instruction Hire of flight equipment Air-Sphere flight for 2 or 3 (depending which voucher has been purchased) where the sphere is lifted off the ground by the 150 mph airflow Allow approx 1 hour for your experience Experience gift pack including smart wallet, personalised voucher and message card PA cover to a value of £50,000 plus cancellation indemnity On arrival you will sign in and attend a short briefing where you will receive all necessary instruction before you are provided with the essential flight equipment, including helmets and earplugs. You'll then enter the staging area of the tunnel with your group, pair by pair you will enter the flight chamber of the tunnel and dive into the sphere taking hold of the handles. The instructors will check you are comfortable before they exit the air stream, it’s then over to the controller who fires up 1,000 HP of power to take you the equivalent of 4 laps of an athletics track. You will then experience the adrenalin fuelled world of Air-Sphereing® as the Sphere is lifted off the ground by the 150mph airflow. The wind power will then be reduced and you will be placed right way up before the instructors check to see that you are shaken but not stirred before you make way for the next intrepid riders. Maximum weight: 18st (114kg) Minimum age: 10 (under 18’s need parental consent) Participants should be in good general health. Participants will be unable to fly if they are pregnant, have previously suffered from a dislocated shoulder, are wearing a hard plaster cast or are under the influence of alcohol or non-prescribed drugs.
